Water is Your Best Friend

70% of earth is covered with water. Everyone needs water for better living. Proper drinking of water is necessary to regulate our day to day activities. As a general rule of thumb, a person can survive without water only for 3 days, so important is water!

Water drinking rehydrate skin , it also boosts the skin health and beauty . regulate body temperature , it flushes out the body waste, water drinking is a basic need of our body.

One should always follow some rules while drinking water so that he /she will get benefits of drinking water.

  • One should always drink water only if he / she is thirsty.
  • One should always drink water in sitting position , Drinking water in erect position creates bloating in stomach .
  • If he / she is drinking it without touching the vessel , If water is poured from distance in mouth there is possibility of aspiration sometimes .
  • Moreover one will not get satisfaction , if he is drinking it without touching the glass.
  • One need to drink water about 2.5 to 0.5 litre water in a day.

But the quantity differs as per the climate conditions , geographical conditions , type of work etc.

Some medicated water (siddha jal) is useful in specific conditions eg- if someone is having unitary calculus , he is advised to drink water medicated with coriander and cumin seeds .

If one is having fever , shadangodak is advised .

Drinking proper amount of water in proper interval , in a proper position gives you healthy life.
