With the strong knowledge base of Ayurveda and with the motto of creating a healthy and happy society; it was decided to lay the foundation stone of Shreerukma Chikitsalya under the leadership of Dr.Gouri Borkar. In the year 2000, Shreerukma Chikitsalya started its journey in a small clinic with an area of 250 sq ft at Tilak Nagar, Dombivli (E). The mission of Shree Rukma is to provide best quality treatment to the patients thus inculcate trust and belief in our ancient heritage knowledge Of Ayurveda. Many patients were benefited from these ayurvedic consultations and medicines and thus the name of Shree Rukma reached beyond Dombivli. With Thane being the centre place for the central route as well as connected to Navi Mumbai and Borivali, a new branch was opened in Naupada, Thane in the year 2005. Thus, the knowledge of Ayurveda increased among general public and many people could avail these facilities. Further Dombivli branch was shifted to another new prime location at Dombivli in Char Rasta area, Manpada with even better Panchakarma facilities. With the aim to provide world class facilities of Ayurveda to the community a new branch equipped with various Panchakarma rooms for different Panchakarma, a Yoga hall, an ayurvedic book library, a large waiting facility and a consulting room with models of various anatomical structures was opened in the year 2016 at Ghodbunder Road, Thane. It caters to patients right upto western suburbs like Borivali Virar, Palghar, etc. Having spent most of her time in Pune, Dr. Gauri Borkar continued the monthly visiting of Shreerukma Chikitsalya at Pune in Kothrud area. People from all over India regularly visit Shree Rukma Chikitsalaya for consultation, medicines and Panchakarma treatment. Also, during this pandemic period, medicines are being delivered to patients all over the world with the help of online video consultation.
